Exclusive wholesale digitizing services using the new DRS Digitizer are now available to Service Bureaus throughout North America.

This fully automatic microfiche digitizer will automatically feed the microfiche allowing the DRS to digitize images from fiche or jackets in grayscale for outstanding archival image quality. It comes with top of the line software built in to the digitizing process, which allows it to compensate for images that are of varying contrast. The DRS has a wide CCD Camera which results in the whole image being captured at once versus a line scanner, which scans across the image; this completely changes the old approach used by Service Bureaus to digitize fiche records.

The quality is outstanding since this is not a line scanner but a fiche digitizer that will photograph each page in one grayscale shot for outstanding archival image quality!
