DRS receives a major contract from Telekom Austria AG to digitalise a large inventory of microfiches.
Telekom Austria has made it its goal to provide all data with fast, online access.
Approx. 3.5 million documents are converted to a digital format by DRS.
The basis of this project are the extensive documented data on COM fiches saved for long-term storage.
Telekom Austria has intentionally selected the unique DRS Digitizer Technology in order to digitalise this analogue microfiche data quickly, cost-effectively and with the highest quality.
This means this data is available to selected employees in the company’s own EDP infrastructure for efficient processing.
